The Monaco Border
Cruise east along the Grande Corniche's shadow, past Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Èze-sur-Mer, until the principality's skyline rises from the rock. You don't need to dock. Sometimes the approach is enough.
Cap d'Antibes
A longer run west, past the Baie des Anges. The cape is all wild pine and secret beaches. Anchor off the Garoupe lighthouse and feel entirely alone, even in August.
Villefranche-sur-Mer
3 nautical miles from Port Lympia. One of the deepest natural bays on the Mediterranean. The pastel harbour front, the old citadel above - it looks exactly as it did in the 1950s. Some places resist change. This is one of them.
